The editing part of running this business consists of more than just editing books. Some clients secure me to edit their blog posts for them. Right now I am getting to go through the posts for a client's blog to restructure his sentences, capture the typo bunny, and generally make his blog easier to read.
This client has things set up so that I can go through the source files for his posts. It is a pretty interesting way to do things without actually having to log into the blog as an administrator. Most people I would expect to have me do it by logging into the blog. This client though runs his own hosting business, so he has things set up in a more technical manner.
It is interesting seeing the different ways that there are to run and host blogs. To allow anyone to edit the content of a blog requires a high amount of faith and trust, so I'm feeling rather honored to be allowed to do this. I'm also very glad of the class I took in HTML back at the COS campus and the additional study I've done outside of school...
