Website Updated, and Podcast Uploaded

Regarding the Main Web Site

The main website has been updated and the publication catalogs made current. It will now be easier for me to update when new things need to be added. Also on the main site itself I have added a specific page to list all the print, ebook, or audiobook projects I have taken part in either as a staff member of another publisher or as a freelancer. I have done this in the spirit of cross promotion as every time a copy of those titles finds another reader or listener is goo for all parties concerned in the production.

If I have taken part in a project of yours and you want it listed please feel free to contact me.

Since the main site is now able to be more dynamic you will notice the links in the side of this blog changing as I work through choosing what to redirect, collapse, or delete. My goal is to tie them together more organically.

Podcast Episode

I have not had a chance to write any flash fictions that I am satisfied with, although I have been submitted another provocative one by Maxaxle that it slated for next week. This week I have chosen to release an episode reading from Arthur Waley's translation of "One Hundred Seventy Chinese Poems" or "170 Chinese Poems" which is freely available on Gutenberg.org.

Short Hiatus From Podcast and Youtube

I would rather not retype the whole thing. I will take a short hiatus from the Youtube and Podcast to mourn and recuperate. I will continue working on other projects. I just need to turn inward some for a bit.
~Teresa

Other projects will not have a hiatus.

Upcoming Interview Series

I will be doing a series of interviews that will be going up on the podcast, youtube, and here on the blog. The subjects are kind folks that I have worked with or read. It is my hope to interview each author I've illustrated for with Pen It Publications, those that have published with me here at THG StarDragon Publishing, and the creator of Dragon Hearts. I intend to have space for self published authors, editors, illustrators, freelancers, narrators, and publishers themselves as well. So far I have received back two to be recorded. I will be sending questions out to others on my list and hope that this will create a great resource for those who are thinking about stepping into some aspect of the world of publishing, no matter who they end up with out of all the houses or even self publishing. I am not sending them all out at once to make it less likely to be snowed under by the list. These first two (three soon I hope) will be great examples for others as to what to expect. Most importantly it helps shine a little light on individuals that I believe deserve to have themselves and their work talked about. If you fall in any of these categories and are interested in being interviewed then please contact me.

Regarding my Youtube channel changes

Some will have noticed that the icon and art on the Youtube channel has been changed. I have swapped it to match my main avatar presentation within Second Life. I am still fine tuning to make sure that the publishing logo still shows well enough, so this may slowly evolve during the process.

Others without adblockers will notice that there are no more ads playing on the videos on my channel, whether it is done for THG StarDragon Publishing vlog purposes, readings, spotlights, reviews, meditations, Patreon purposes, or things that my time and space has been given to make a donation to the Trotsdale or other Intersim library uses. Due to having less than 1,000 subscribers and less than 4,000 minutes of watch time I no longer qualify for their monetization program. Thus I disabled all ads before I lost access to that feature. There's no sense in having ads play that won't stand the chance of helping with funding.

The content type that I post will be likely to shift around a bit for a little longer until I am once more on a more regular schedule. I am still recording narration for "The Ian's Realm Saga Trilogy" for author D.L. Garnder and working on illustrations for Debi over in PenIt publishing for a children's book project. So there is less time for regular reading to do book reviews or to record things for playback for the library. I miss my internet being of a high enough caliber I could reliably do live readings, but time wise it wouldn't be feasible right now anyway. There are also other video posting projects that were being suppressed by lack of time to work on them.

Regarding my own writing I am still doing the monthly poems for my Patreon. In the current Selkies' Skins manuscript I am fitting in writing for that when and as I can. The illustration and narration projects are higher priority though until I have those finished up.
